These root zone heating mats have been used in commercial greenhouses for years to jump-start seedlings and plant cuttings. The Fast-Gro Propagation Heat Mats are smaller versions of their greenhouse variety, made just for home use. 

If you're using a standard greenhouse tray for your seedlings, the 11" x 24" Fast-Gro Propagation Heat Mat is a perfect fit. The 22" x 44" size is ideal for use with our same dimension White Propagation Tray.

They cost only pennies a day to operate, but give you faster seed germination and stronger, healthier plants. Fast-Gro Propagation Heat Mats keep soil temperature 15 to 20 degrees above room temperature to encourage faster growth and help prevent root rot.

The Fast-Gro heater mats are hermetically sealed in plastic to make them water resistant - spills wipe off easily. The 5' power cord plugs into any standard 120V electrical outlet.

Fast-Gro Propagation Heat Mats do NOT require a temperature controller, but they have a higher heat output than most heat mats, so we strongly recommend using the optional Heat Mat Thermostat to prevent overheating.
