Use this gravity-fed Float Valve with 1/2" Barb Fitting to control the nutrient solution level in a single reservoir. 

It also works well with multiple-site hydro systems that have a master reservoir.

The 1/2" barbed makes it more versatile when building your own hdyroponics equipment. Can also be used for line pressure with 1/4" compression tube.
