The waterproof heat mat uses 17 watts and plugs into any standard 120 volt electrical outlet. UL listed for safety.

The Hot House Heat Mat does NOT require a temperature controller. But when exact temperature control is needed for delicate plants, such as orchids, add the optional Heat Mat Thermostat.
