Grow Room : pH, TDS, PPM Testers and Controls
Whether using soil or hydroponics for your gardening, the proper
balance of your growing environment can be the life or death of your
plants. This area helps with the proper maintenance of:
pH: (chemistry) p(otential of) H(ydrogen) TDS: total dissolved solids PPM: parts per million EC: electrical connectivity
It comes with a pH probe and conductivity/temperature probe, which are simply placed into the nutrient solution and which ever reading you select is displayed on the meter screen.
The BlueLab pH Cleaning and Calibration Kit contains everything needed to clean your pH probe. It also includes calibration solutions to keep meter readings accurate.
This multifunction meter is factory calibrated, fully waterproof and has auto turn on and off. It is powered by three standard AA batteries (not included). There are no external switches or adjustment knobs.
The EC Dipstick dissolved salts pen operates on 3 common inexpensive AA alkaline batteries.Measures in PPM, EC and CF scales. No calibration required. It calibrates itself each time you replace the batteries.
The Checker® supplies you with fast and accurate readings from 0 to 14 pH with a resolution of 0.01 pH. This compact tester features a large easy-to-read LCD and simple to perform 2-point calibration.
It provides a battery level indicator with an automatic shut-off after 8 minutes of non-use. Batteries last for about 300 hours of continuous use. The pH Electrode Cartridge is replaceable!
This durable tester gives you a replaceable pH electrode cartridge and cloth renewable junction. The Hanna Instruments Combo provides both adjustable ß and TDS ratio. The stainless steel encapsulated temperature sensor facilitates faster, more accurate temperature measurement and compensation.
A rugged all-round waterproof meter, the HI 9813 has a fast response probe to test pH from 0.0 to 14.0, EC from 0.0 to 4.00 mS/cm and TDS from 0 to 1999 ppm (mg/L).
Hesi recomments a pH value is 6, but can range from 5.8 - 6.2, depending on your plants requirements and other growing conditions. If it falls much lower the roots can be damaged. If the pH value runs too high the plant cannot absorb all of the needed nutrients.
This surprisingly accurate, high-tech device has a silicon chip so it can measure the smallest of samples and its easy to calibrate. The IQ 120 Mini Lab even gives you an error warning when calibration isn't correct.
This floating, waterproof meter lets you choose between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature readings, performs calibration and temperature compensation automatically, and has a replaceable probe.
When passing light trough a liquid the refracted angle will be shown on the scale determining the amount of dissolved solids in the liquid, letting you find how your plants are utilizing the nutrients.
The Milwaukee T76 gives you automatic temperature compensation for accurate results. It has a battery life of 250 hours of continuous use. Takes three (3) 1.5V batteries which are included.
The single-junction electrode is recessed into the casing to help protect against breakage. The waterproof, dustproof housing makes the EcoTestr pH 2 a good choice for indoor gardening.
Simply slide the off switch to either "pH Analysis" or "Fertilizer Analysis" position. Place the probes in the moistened ground or collect a soil sample from the area to be tested and thoroughly moisten.
If you're already familiar with soil testing you'll appreciate the specially designed "color comparator" and capsule system that make quick work of testing. Beginners will appreciate the easy-to-use tester that let's you achieve better growing results from your gardening efforts!
This waterproof EC / TDS / TEMP combination meter features an easy-to-read LCD screen, five-minute auto-off, data-hold functions and low-battery indicator. Expect battery life of about 100 hours of usage. The TDS Expert Plus meter even has Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) to ensure accurate readings.
