Watts PF2 Electricity Controller 

The Watts PF2 Controller may bring savings to the residential electrical consumer that, up to now, has only been available to the large industrial consumer. 

It works by correcting Power Factor (PF) of the AC power to your home. The Watts PF2 Controller brings the voltage and load current into phase with each other. This results in a smooth, reliable, continuous clean flow of electricity, making for efficient power consumption.

Any time an inductive load such as fans, compressors, ballasts, or anything containing a motor is connected to a power grid the current will lag the voltage. Electrical companies allow a 90% to 95% PF, and some penalize the consumer if the consumption rate is outside of this range.

The manufacturer has determined that the Watts Controls PF2 may not work consistently in all applications due to the numerous factors that impact power bill savings.
