FloraShield is an all purpose anti-microbial solution developed for horticultural use. It disrupts multiple enzyme reactions that allow disease growth and development. Due to its mode of action, FloraShield is safe to use on, and around, actively growing plants at all stages of growth! 

For healthy plants, there must be healthy roots. General Hydroponics Flora Shield will protect and rid your plant of 97% of all bacteria and fungi, without resorting to harsh, toxic chemicals.

FloraShield is known to solve root rot problems. If root rot is present, decay will cease and new root growth will return. Fungi and bacteria will be inoculated, and signs of attack will slowly diminish, allowing plants to resume growth and flourish. NOTE: Trichoderma is not affected by FloraShield.

Application rate:

Hydroponics Reservoir: Add 1 part FloraShield to 100 parts of nutrient solution in the reservoir and circulate (1-1/4 oz. per 1 gallon) for an hour or two, then empty and refill your reservoir with fresh water and your normal nutrients. It is very important not to leave the FloraShield in your reservoir for more than 2 hours. The instructions on the bottle do not tell you this, but it is very important to empty your res after using FloraShield!!!
Seed Soak: (ratio of 1:100) Soak seeds for 5-10 minutes then rinse with clean water before planting.
Plant Propagation: (ratio of 1:100) Soak cuttings for 20-30 seconds - rinse with clean water before applying cloning gels or rooting powders.
Pre-Treatment of Rooting Medium: (ratio of 1:100) Drench then allow to drain.
Equipment Cleaning: (ratio of 1:100) Soak tools in FloraShield solution for 2-3 minutes. Wipe equipment with FloraShield and allow to air dry.
Container gardening (soil or soil-less): (ratio of 1:100) Mix in a watering container and pour until half the amount runs off.

Although FloraShield excels in curing plant problems, use it with your nutrient solution, hydroponics equipment, and growroom tools regularly for the ultimate pathogen prevention routine.
