Mistaponic Sprout Germinator 

Ever had sprouts go bad before you could harvest them? Seeds generate heat while germinating which is why they can get moldy or mushy. While they sprout, plant seeds require very little water but need large amounts of oxygen to stay healthy. The Mistaponic Germinator gives you total control over the sprouting enviroment by using a patented technology that incorporates pressurized mist to simultaneously cool and oxygenate both the water and air. Never loose a sprout crop again! 

The unique design of the Mistaponic Germinator lets you grow 1 large crop using the tray, or you can sprout several varieties at the same time by using the 5 smaller growing cartridges (trays). Using the smaller cartridges let you start 1 or 2 new crops each day to keep your harvest in sync with your eating habits! This system eliminates the need to presoak seeds! The seeds are placed in the tray or cartridge DRY and the Mistaponic Germinator takes over, soaking, rinsing, misting, oxygenating and draining automatically. Sprout seeds using a hydroponics method (we recommend) or use growing media - both work well in this sprouter.

The water reservoir allows adding minerals that enhances growth, such as liquid kelp or hydroponic growing solutions. If needed you can add solutions that assist in disinfecting the crops, such as hydrogen peroxide, although the Mistaponic Germinator incorporates an automatic disinfecting cycle to keep high sanitary conditions within the machine and the water is NOT recyled - all used water is drained out of the machine. Includes food grade quality trays and cartridges in accordance with DFA regulations so they can be used for storing sprouts in the refrigerator. Uses 120v/60Hz and is rated at only .55Amp, using very little electricity.

If you are serious about consuming healthy organic food with minimal work, the Mistaponic Germinator is a must! We recommend using only organic seeds for the highest quality crop. Organic sprouts are jammed pack with nutrients and enzymes. As a general rule, most seed sprouts provide about 10 times the normal level of nutritional value than the same plant has in its adult stage. Keep in mind that sprouts needs to be consumed on the 5th or 6th day of germination - beyond that time frame, the young sprouts use their abundant amounts of minerals and vitamins for their own use to grow mature plants. Ideal for alfalfa, broccoli, radish, clover, wheatgrass and sunflower greens.
