The Hortilux Ultra Ace HPS 220-watt conversion lamp is a High Pressure Sodium lamp that operates on in a 250 watt Metal Halide system. 

What's that mean to you? No additional investment in an HPS ballast - you can use your existing MH ballast and still have the optimum light spectrum needed for flowering or fruiting plant stage.

Hortilux Hortilux Ultra Ace HPS 220W is completely lead free and has a mogul base. The clear glass bulb will function in both the vertical and horizontal positions and lasts about 20,000 hours of use at 2100K.

This 220-watt Eye Hortilux Ultra Ace HPS Conversion Bulb emits 25,100 lumens. For use with a 250-watt metal halide ballast.
