Growco Indoor Garden Supply Shipping Policies
"FREE SHIPPING on orders totaling $250 or more
when delivered within lower continental USA"
There are a few exceptions to our Free Shipping
policy that are necessary so we won't go broke. Items that fall into
this category have a bold statement on their page so you know shipping
charges are going to apply.
1. Heavyweight items: If an item (such as a
the larger grow tents, multiple bags of heavier growing media or air
conditioners) weighs more than 70 pounds, it cannot be shipped via
UPS or FedEx. It must be truck shipped and generates a shipping
charge. We do call around for the best shipping price and contact
you for approval before we complete your order.
2. Oversized items: UPS and FedEx limits the
size of the package they will handle under normal shipping rates.
Any oversized item (such as an AeroFlo hydro system, large
flood tables or the extra-large reflectors) generates additional shipping costs that
will be added to the order. We will contact you with the most cost
effective option available to get your approval before we complete
your order.

SHIPPING: We only
ship products within the United
States, including Hawaii and Alaska.
Orders are shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx for the
Continental USA.
For extra large orders, or for oversized items, we regularly
ship by truck.
FedEx does deliver on Saturdays for residential ground orders. UPS does
not deliver on Saturdays.
2nd Day Air option is available and may be selected in the shopping cart.
All orders placed requesting
the 2 or 3 day shipping options must be placed before 11:00 AM
(eastern) Monday - Friday in order to be shipped that day, or will be
shipped on the next coming business day. Your order will arrive to you
in 2 or 3 business days (depending on which expedited shipping method
you've chosen). Business days are defined as Monday through
Friday. Saturday and Sunday don't count for either UPS or FedEx.
Please take this into consideration on all expedited shipping orders. NOTE: hazardous materials such as pH adjusters cannot be
shipped 2nd day air.
Order
shipping may be delayed near Holidays as our stores or UPS and FedEx is closed
for major holidays.
UPS and FedEx tracking numbers are
emailed to you upon shipment your order. Track your order by UPS
or FedEx tracking
number or by Growco Order Number here.
Michigan shoppers - expect
standard delivery within 2 business day - usually next day!
Also Illinois (Chicago orders are all next
day!), Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, and parts of Iowa will receive
one or two day shipping automatically at ground shipping rates
(usually next day in these states).
Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia,
North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia,
Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey,
Delaware, and Maryland will all receive their orders on average
in two business days at ground shipping rates!
USPS - We understand that some homes can
only receive delivery to PO boxes. Although we don't offer
this option in the shopping cart we will ship USPS if needed.
Please detail your request in the "Special Instructions" portion of
your order. Due to credit card fraud, we can only ship to the
cardholders address so it must match the PO box.
If we find that your order costs less money
to ship through USPS, we will do so and credit the savings to your
credit card.
Ship to any address - Orders pre-paid by
money order or cashiers check can be shipped UPS to any address in
the lower continental US.
Inventory - Growco
Indoor Garden Supply maintains a healthy inventory of all the
products on our website! We've been doing this for a long time, and
we're good at it. We have a 16,000 sf warehouse, fully stocked with
every item on our website. This benefits you, our customer in many
ways. First, it helps to prevent items from running out of stock. By
keeping our warehouse filled with all of our products, it gives us
time to avoid running out of anything. It also guarantees your
privacy with us as we won't share your information with anybody
else. But, the bottom line is that it allows us to ship your
order out without any delays. Our goal is to ship your order on
the day it's received, or the next normal business day. No messing
around here! Our focus it to get your order to you, safely packed,
and shipped fast, without compromising your privacy in any way!
We do occasionally drop-ship items, (usually very strategically, to
get the item to the customer faster if they're located close to the
wholesaler).

PACKAGING: Rest
assured your order will be delivered safely.
We spare no expense on packaging. Rarely is a product damaged during shipping.

Cold weather shipping: Prior to shipping
your order, we always check the weather report to see if freezing of
nutrients while in transit could possibly become an issue. If we
think there is any risk whatsoever of your liquid nutrients
freezing, we will individually wrap every bottle in a special
insulated heat retaining material, and in extreme cases, we'll
include a "Hot Hands Body Warmer" pack with the nutrients to further
guard against freezing. We do this automatically, without any added
cost to you. This is just one more way that Growco takes care of our
customers.
Organic products are
protected from contamination within our packaging as we use mostly green
CFC free peanuts. Are you a recycler? Many UPS Stores accept packing
peanuts for recycling!
Discreet packaging
- Orders are packed in plain unmarked boxes with the return name of
Jay Lawrence.
Hazmat Approved - Our shipping department
is trained to safely ship hazardous pH liquid
products to your doorstep.
PAYMENT POLICIES:
You have choices!
Credit Cards -
Growco accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express
credit cards.
In order to help deter growing credit card
fraudulence usage, all credit card purchases must be shipped to the
cardholder's billing address. Credit cards are processed at the
time of shipping.
Money Orders - Purchases pre-paid with money orders or
cashier's check can be shipped to any U.S. address of your choice. Our online
shopping service offers a convenient option to place your order online.
PRINT THE ORDER AS THE DIRECTIONS SPECIFY.
REMEMBER
TO INCLUDE THE PRINTED ORDER WITH YOUR PAYMENT SO THAT WE KNOW WHAT YOU
WANT AND WHERE TO SHIP IT. If this
information is not included with your money order or check payment, it
WILL delay shipping of your order.
Save both your money order receipt, and your money order shipping
information for your records. If a payment is lost in transit, we will
require this information.
If you send your payment
with a "signature required", please make a note to the driver to deliver
after 12:00 pm (noon). We strongly urge you to send your payment to us
by UPS or FedEx - call or email us
with the tracking number immediately after sending your payment.
The faster you get your payment to us, the faster we
can get to work packing and shipping your order. Payments sent by U.S.
Postal Service may be delayed.

Personal Checks - We are required to hold
personal checks for up to 10 business days before shipping the
order.
Sales Tax - A 6% sales tax will be applied to your
order if you take delivery within the state of Michigan. Shipping
elsewhere? No sales tax for you!
